Stunning Vuokko gown of viscose velvet, black with bright blue vertical topstitching; the most remarkable part of the style are the huge balloon sleeves that can be worn a number of ways. The dress can be worn back to front and vice versa. There is a short brass zipper at the neck. The ruffle at the bottom is very 1970s. It is a tent style-quasi-Victorian- 1930s style gown!

The vintage Vuokko dress has a self-belt for even more versatility! Simply gorgeous and one of the rarest styles by Vuokko. Its marked small but due to the measurements will fit larger sizes. 

Vuokko Nurmesniemi was a principal designer for Marimekko and known for bold color and shape combinations, whimsical looks.
