This fantastic vintage 1950s Marimekko dress is very rare, one of the earliest made by this label. 

It is made of a beautiful nutmeg colored lightweight wool, not voile, a little more loose. It has elbow length sleeves, darted bodice, a side zip opening and a short two-button placket in front. The skirt is gathered to the waistband and is fairly full.  matching belt....Mint condition.

If you collect Marimekko, you shouldn't miss this one!
