Stylish natural Mexican fire opal & diamond cocktail ring crafted in 900 platinum.

Cabochon cut natural Mexican fire opal, 1.43 carats (10mm x 7.4mm). The opal is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips. The opal exhibits a strong play of colors with an orange base and flashes or red, yellow and green. Surrounding the opal is 20 full cut round & tapered baguette diamonds, total weight approx. 0.64ct, G-H color, VS-SI qualities, good cuts.

The fire opal lights up in natural sunlight, with interchangeable colors as alluring as confetti. Mexican fire opal have a wonderous deep honey orange base, showing strong color flashes in natural sunlight with every movement of the ring. The cocktail ring is medium in scale and makes a nice statement on the hand. The medium rise ring (11mm - 0.43 inches) sits comfortably on the finger.
The ring is in very good condition. We have not cleaned it in order to preserve the patina and collector value.
